Professional Driver Opportunities at CRS Uganda

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Uganda is seeking experienced and reliable professional drivers to join our humanitarian team. As a leading international NGO operating across Uganda, we offer rewarding driving positions for individuals committed to supporting community development and emergency response programmes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Safely operate CRS vehicles for programme activities, staff transportation, and supply delivery
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain proper maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with all Uganda traffic laws and CRS safety protocols
• Support logistics operations including loading/unloading of programme supplies
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Assist with basic administrative tasks related to vehicle documentation
• Navigate various road conditions across different regions of Uganda

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid Uganda Driving Permit Class B, DL, or CM (essential)
• Minimum 3 years professional driving experience, preferably with NGOs
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Certificate in Defensive Driving (added advantage)
• Basic mechanical knowledge and vehicle maintenance skills
• Excellent knowledge of Uganda road networks and routes
• Fluency in English and at least one local language
• Strong commitment to safety and professional conduct
