Hotel Driver Job in Kampala - Marriott International Pre-Opening Team

Marriott International, a world leader in hospitality, is seeking a reliable and professional Hotel Driver to join the pre-opening team for the new Marriott Kampala Hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch of a premier international hotel in Uganda's capital. As a key member of the team, you will provide safe, courteous, and efficient transportation services for hotel guests, executives, and VIPs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Safely transport hotel guests, management, and VIPs to and from the hotel, airports, business meetings, and local attractions.
• Maintain the highest standards of vehicle cleanliness, presentation, and mechanical condition through daily checks.
• Provide excellent customer service, representing the Marriott brand with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Assist guests with luggage and offer knowledgeable information about Kampala and local points of interest.
• Adhere to all Ugandan traffic laws, safety regulations, and hotel policies at all times.
• Coordinate with the front office and concierge teams to manage the transportation schedule efficiently.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid Ugandan Driving Permit (DL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a hotel, tourism, or corporate environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Kampala roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages (Luganda) is a strong advantage.
• Impeccable personal presentation, punctuality, and a guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
