Posta Uganda, the national postal service provider, is seeking three (3) dedicated and honest individuals to join our transport team as Post Bus Conductors. This is an excellent opportunity to build a stable career with a respected government parastatal and contribute to the vital service of connecting communities across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage passenger boarding, ticketing, and fare collection on designated Post Bus routes.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of daily collections and passenger manifests.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to passengers.
• Maintain order and safety standards on the bus during transit.
• Coordinate closely with the Post Bus driver and report to the Post Bus Supervisor.
• Handle cash transactions with integrity and submit daily returns.
• Assist with luggage and postal parcels as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Ugandan citizen with a valid National ID.
• Minimum of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent.
• Proven honesty and integrity, with ability to handle cash responsibly.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
• Physical fitness to assist with luggage and stand for periods.
• Previous experience in a similar conductor or customer service role is an added advantage.
