Partnership Facilitator Job in Kampala - NGO Careers Uganda

Compassion International Uganda is seeking a dedicated Partnership Facilitator to join our team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity for a development professional to serve as the primary liaison between our organisation and frontline church partners across a specific region of Uganda.

As a Partnership Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in empowering local churches to implement our holistic child development programme effectively. You will work directly with church partner staff, providing the coaching, mentoring, and support needed to transform the lives of children in poverty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact and support for assigned church partners in your region
• Coach and mentor church partner staff on programme implementation and best practices
• Facilitate comprehensive training sessions on Compassion's policies, procedures, and child development models
• Monitor programme activities, outcomes, and compliance with partnership standards
• Support church partners with child registration processes and sponsor/donor engagement
• Prepare and submit accurate reports on programme progress and challenges
• Identify capacity-building needs and advocate for necessary support from the country office
• Ensure all programme activities align with Compassion's mission and values

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Community Development, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in community development, NGO work, or partnership management
• Strong understanding of child development principles and community-based programmes
• Excellent training, facilitation, and mentoring skills
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation systems
• Valid motorcycle riding permit (Class A) is essential for field travel
• Fluency in English and at least one local language spoken in the assigned region
