Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator Job at World Vision Uganda - Kampala

World Vision International Uganda is seeking an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This senior role offers an exciting opportunity to lead monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities for multiple development projects across Uganda.

As our Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring program quality and impact measurement for our community development initiatives. This position is ideal for M&E professionals passionate about driving evidence-based decision making in the development sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive M&E frameworks for multiple projects
• Design and conduct robust data collection, analysis and reporting systems
• Produce high-quality monitoring and evaluation reports for donors and stakeholders
• Support program teams in using M&E data for continuous quality improvement
• Build capacity of staff and partners in M&E methodologies and best practices
• Ensure accountability mechanisms are effectively implemented across projects
• Facilitate learning sessions to document and share project successes and challenges

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree in Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive M&E experience in the development sector in Uganda
• Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, STATA, or similar)
• Strong data visualization and reporting skills
• Experience working with international NGOs and understanding of Uganda's development context
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities
