Are you a skilled M&E professional passionate about creating lasting change for vulnerable children? World Vision International, a global Christian humanitarian organisation with over 70 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join our team in Arua, Uganda. This is a fixed-term contract position where you will play a critical role in measuring the impact of our life-transforming programmes in the West Nile region.

Key Responsibilities
As our Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring programme quality and accountability. Your core duties will include:
- Supporting the design and implementation of robust M&E systems for World Vision Uganda programmes.
- Leading data collection, analysis, and visualisation to accurately measure programme impact and inform strategic decision-making.
- Developing and refining M&E tools, frameworks, and data collection methodologies.
- Preparing comprehensive M&E reports and presenting findings to programme teams and stakeholders.
- Building the M&E capacity of programme staff and partners to ensure high data quality standards.
- Supporting baseline studies, evaluations, and operational research activities.
- Documenting and sharing best practices, success stories, and lessons learned to improve programme delivery.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within the NGO or development sector in Uganda.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, Excel, Power BI, KoBoToolbox).
- Excellent report-writing, presentation, and communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including local communities.
