Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Old Mutual's insurance, investment, and savings products across Uganda.
• Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across both traditional and digital channels.
• Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities in the Ugandan financial sector.
• Manage digital marketing initiatives including social media, SEO, email marketing, and online advertising.
• Analyse campaign performance using analytics tools and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Collaborate with sales teams and product development to ensure marketing alignment with business objectives.
• Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective implementation of strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with media partners, agencies, and other stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Proven experience in the financial services, insurance, or banking sector in Uganda is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics software.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
• Valid driving permit and willingness to travel within Uganda as required.
