Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust IT security protocols for mass-market digital platforms and services.
• Monitor security systems to protect NSSF's data and member information from cyber threats and breaches.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely reports and solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all technology projects.
• Provide security awareness training to staff and promote a culture of cybersecurity.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies relevant to Uganda's digital landscape.

Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in IT security, network security, or information assurance.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with Ugandan data protection regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
