C-Care Uganda, a leading provider of quality healthcare services, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Functional Systems Officer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our digital transformation journey across all IMC facilities in Uganda. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our critical business systems operate reliably and efficiently to support excellent patient care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for functional system issues, enhancement requests, and user support for ERP, hospital, and core business applications.
• Provide daily operational support, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Align system processes with approved business workflows to optimise efficiency and data quality.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular checks, and implement preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand user needs and translate them into system solutions.
• Ensure all systems comply with organisational policies, healthcare regulations, and data protection standards.
• Assist in user training and create support documentation to improve system adoption.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new modules or features.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in supporting and configuring ERP systems, hospital management systems, or similar enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support users across various departments.
• Knowledge of database management and basic SQL is an added advantage.
• Understanding of healthcare operations and processes in the Ugandan context is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple locations.
