Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Job Opportunity in Uganda

SGA Security Uganda Limited, a leading security solutions provider in East Africa, is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team in Uganda. This senior role is critical for driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the company's continued growth and stability in the Ugandan market.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and manage the company's annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, variance analysis, and performance metrics for senior management.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue growth.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and investment appraisals.
• Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets and ensure financial discipline across all operations.
• Lead the preparation of board presentations and management reports.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario planning and business forecasting.
• Ensure all financial planning activities comply with Ugandan accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA, MSc) is a strong advantage.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in financial planning, analysis, or a similar senior finance role, preferably within Uganda or the East African region.
• Extensive experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
• Strong understanding of Ugandan financial regulations and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability and experience managing a team.
