Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and management accounts.
- Develop, monitor, and manage the organisation's annual budget and forecasts.
- Oversee and manage the loan portfolio, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making by management.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and Ugandan regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational efficiency.
- Assist with audit processes and implement recommendations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised university.
- Full CPA qualification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working within the microfinance or banking sector in Uganda.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and loan portfolio management.
- High proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
