Watu, a leader in innovative asset financing and sustainable mobility solutions, is looking for passionate and energetic Field Marketing Interns to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-growing electric vehicle (EV) sector while working across multiple key locations in Uganda.

About the Role:
As a Field Marketing Intern for our Electric Vehicle division, you will be at the forefront of promoting sustainable transport solutions. You will engage directly with communities, businesses, and potential customers to raise awareness about the benefits of EVs and Watu's financing options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field marketing activities and community outreach in your assigned location (Kampala, Luwero, Jinja, or Mukono).
• Educate the public and businesses on the advantages of electric vehicles, including cost savings and environmental benefits.
• Distribute marketing materials and generate qualified leads for the sales team.
• Assist in organising and managing promotional events, demos, and roadshows.
• Collect market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape our marketing strategies.
• Represent the Watu brand professionally and passionately in the field.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in the field.
• Passion for marketing, technology, and sustainable development.
• Must be resident in or able to easily commute to one of the locations: Kampala, Luwero, Jinja, or Mukono.
• Proficiency in English and at least one local language (Luganda, Lusoga, etc.) is a strong advantage.
