Digital Transformation Developer Job at C-Care Uganda - All IMC Facilities

C-Care Uganda, a leading private healthcare provider, is seeking an innovative Digital Transformation Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to design and build digital solutions that will revolutionise healthcare services across all our IMC facilities in Uganda.

As a Digital Transformation Developer, you will be at the forefront of our digital evolution, creating APIs, custom applications, and integration services that connect our core systems like ERP and Hospital Information Systems (HIS). Your work will directly impact patient care by streamlining clinical and administrative workflows, enabling new digital health services, and improving operational efficiency across our healthcare network.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, integration services, and microservices architecture
• Build custom applications to connect and enhance core healthcare systems (ERP, HIS, etc.)
• Streamline and automate clinical, administrative, and business workflows
• Enable new digital healthcare services and patient engagement platforms
• Collaborate with clinical teams, IT staff, and management to identify digital transformation opportunities
• Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Provide technical support and training for implemented digital solutions

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field
• Proven experience in software development, API design, and system integration
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems (HIS, ERP) is a significant advantage
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development frameworks
• Experience with database management and cloud technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment
