Job Summary

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our valued users, providing exceptional support and resolving issues related to our payment platform. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining PayWay's reputation for excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally via phone, email, and live chat
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to digital payments and platform usage
  • Provide timely and accurate solutions to customer problems
  • Educate customers on how to use PayWay's services effectively
  • Document customer interactions and feedback for service improvement
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams
  • Stay updated on new features and updates to our payment platform

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in any field from a recognised institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or telecom
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with digital payment systems and financial technology
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and patience when dealing with customer issues
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Knowledge of local languages (Luganda, Luo, etc.) is an added advantage
