About the Role:
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional support and ensuring a smooth user experience. You will play a crucial role in building trust and loyalty by resolving issues efficiently and educating users about our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and provide step-by-step technical support for users experiencing issues with digital payments, transactions, and account access.
- Offer clear guidance and education on PayWay's products, features, and security practices.
- Log, track, and escalate complex technical issues to the relevant internal teams for resolution.
- Gather customer feedback and contribute insights to help improve our products and services.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in our support system.
What We're Looking For (Requirements):
- A minimum of a Diploma in any field from a recognised institution.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a customer service or support role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Luganda is a strong plus).
- A patient, empathetic, and problem-solving attitude.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- A strong plus: Knowledge of, or keen interest in, digital payments, mobile money (like MTN MoMo and Airtel Money), and the Ugandan fintech landscape.
