Job Description

Watu, a leading provider of asset financing solutions, is hiring a Customer Success Manager to join their team in Sierra Leone. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional to build strong relationships and drive client satisfaction in a dynamic, growing market.

About the Role:
As a Customer Success Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients, ensuring they achieve maximum value from our products and services. You will play a crucial role in fostering loyalty, managing accounts, and contributing to the company's growth through exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main liaison between Watu and its clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Onboard new clients and ensure they understand and can effectively use our financing solutions.
  • Proactively monitor client accounts, identify potential issues, and provide timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Gather client feedback and work closely with internal teams (Sales, Product, Support) to advocate for customer needs and drive service improvements.
  • Develop success plans for clients to help them achieve their business objectives using Watu's services.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with the sales team on renewal and upselling initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on account health, customer feedback, and success metrics.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a customer success, account management, or client relations role, preferably within financial services, fintech, or a related industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to analyse data, understand customer usage patterns, and translate insights into action.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
