Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative in Jinja, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Efficiently handling and resolving customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Accurately processing policy changes, updates, and other client service requests.
  • Providing clear and detailed information about Old Mutual's diverse range of products and services, including life insurance, savings plans, and investments.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer records in our systems.
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and trust in the Old Mutual brand.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this customer service role in Uganda, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised institution.
  • A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a customer-facing or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and local languages (spoken in the Jinja region).
  • Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a genuine desire to help people.
