Country Representative Job in Kampala - ITM Tanzania Limited

ITM Tanzania Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Representative to lead our operations in Uganda. This senior leadership role based in Kampala offers an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, manage strategic partnerships, and oversee all company activities in the Ugandan market.

As our Country Representative in Uganda, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies that align with our regional objectives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, government agencies, and clients while ensuring operational excellence across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies for the Ugandan market
• Lead and manage the local team to achieve operational and financial targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders
• Oversee all business operations, ensuring compliance with Ugandan laws and regulations
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends in Uganda
• Prepare regular reports on business performance for regional headquarters
• Manage budgets and ensure financial targets are met
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in Uganda or East African region
• Proven track record in business development and strategic planning
• Strong understanding of Ugandan business environment and regulatory framework
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions
• Fluency in English (knowledge of local languages is an advantage)
