dfcu Bank Uganda is seeking an experienced CIB Recoveries Manager to join our dynamic team in Uganda. This senior banking position offers an exciting opportunity to lead recovery strategies for our Corporate and Institutional Banking portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective recovery strategies for non-performing loans in the CIB portfolio
• Manage the entire recovery process from assessment to final resolution
• Negotiate with corporate clients to achieve optimal recovery outcomes
• Collaborate with legal teams on recovery proceedings and documentation
• Monitor and report on recovery portfolio performance to senior management
• Maintain compliance with Bank of Uganda regulations and internal policies
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders including clients, legal partners, and internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in banking recovery or credit risk management
• Strong understanding of Ugandan banking regulations and recovery laws
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proven track record in corporate debt recovery
• Professional certification in banking or finance is an advantage
