Business Development Manager Job Opportunity at Joint Clinical Research Center Uganda

Join the Joint Clinical Research Center (JCRC) as a Business Development Manager and contribute to transforming healthcare in Uganda. We are seeking an experienced professional to drive growth and strategic partnerships for one of Uganda's leading medical research institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies for JCRC Uganda
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with healthcare organisations, government agencies, and international donors
• Lead proposal development and grant writing initiatives for research funding
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Uganda's healthcare sector
• Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities in clinical research and healthcare services
• Represent JCRC at national and international conferences and meetings
• Collaborate with research teams to align business development with organisational objectives

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in healthcare or research sector
• Proven track record of successful partnership development and fundraising
• Strong understanding of Uganda's healthcare landscape and research environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English
• Experience working with international donors and funding agencies
