About the Role

As an Assistant Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial support role in managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. You will work closely with senior relationship managers to deliver exceptional, personalised banking services and financial solutions that meet the sophisticated needs of our private banking clientele in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist in managing and nurturing relationships with existing Private Banking clients.
• Support the acquisition of new high-value customers through targeted initiatives.
• Help clients understand and utilise the bank's suite of premium products, including investment advisory, wealth management, and specialised credit facilities.
• Ensure excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
• Prepare client profiles, financial reviews, and documentation for senior manager review.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new financial regulations in Uganda.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of banking services.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field from a recognised university.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in banking, preferably in retail banking, customer service, or relationship management within the Ugandan market.
• Strong understanding of banking products, services, and credit processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and core banking systems.
• A results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
