Job Description

NCBA Bank Uganda is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Relationship Manager for Personal Banking to join our growing team in Kampala. This is an exciting career opportunity in Uganda's competitive banking sector, where you will play a key role in driving retail banking growth and delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

As an Assistant Relationship Manager, you will work closely with the Branch Manager and Relationship Managers to manage a portfolio of personal banking clients. You will be at the forefront of understanding customer needs, promoting NCBA's retail banking products, and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of personal banking relationships.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable banking products, including savings accounts, loans, and investment solutions.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for various retail banking products.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve client queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Support the branch team in implementing sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in Uganda.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate customer records and reports.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail banking, sales, or customer relationship management within the Ugandan financial sector.
  • Strong understanding of personal banking products and services.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A high degree of integrity and professionalism.
