Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize transport and distribution operations
- Coordinate logistics for timely delivery of products
- Develop efficient distribution routes and strategies
- Monitor fleet performance and maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with Ugandan transport regulations
- Manage distribution team and resources effectively
- Implement cost-saving measures in transport operations
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport & Distribution, or related field from a reputable institution
- Strong understanding of Ugandan transport and distribution landscape
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of local transport regulations and routes
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
