Are you a seasoned procurement and logistics professional seeking a meaningful role with a leading international NGO? World Vision International Uganda is hiring a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to be based at our Country Office in Kampala. This is a senior-level opportunity to manage critical supply chain functions that directly support our development and humanitarian programmes across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the complete procurement cycle for the Uganda Country Office, from requisition to delivery, ensuring value for money and transparency.
- Maintain and update the vendor database, conduct supplier pre-qualification, and manage contracts effectively.
- Oversee comprehensive inventory management, warehousing operations, and asset management systems.
- Coordinate vehicle fleet management, transportation, and staff travel logistics across programme areas.
- Ensure strict compliance with World Vision's procurement manual, donor regulations (e.g., USAID, UN, ECHO), and Ugandan laws.
- Prepare timely procurement reports, analyses, and maintain impeccable documentation for audits.
- Build the capacity of national staff on proper procurement and logistics procedures and policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional certification like CIPS is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably within an International NGO (INGO) or a large organisation in Uganda.
- Proven experience managing large-scale procurement for development or humanitarian programmes.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and donor compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
- A high level of integrity, ethical standards, and attention to detail.
