Medical Teams International is seeking a dedicated Logistics Officer to join our humanitarian team in Moyo, Uganda. This critical role focuses on managing supply chain and logistics operations to support our life-saving medical services in the region.

As a Logistics Officer with Medical Teams International, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of medical supplies and equipment to support our healthcare programs serving vulnerable communities in Northern Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations and logistics coordination
• Oversee inventory management and stock control systems
• Coordinate procurement processes and vendor relationships
• Ensure proper distribution of medical supplies and equipment
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation and reporting
• Optimise warehouse management and storage facilities
• Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules
• Implement logistics best practices and compliance standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Proven experience in inventory management and stock control
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with humanitarian logistics standards
• Experience working in NGO or humanitarian settings preferred
