Diageo, a global leader in premium drinks, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. This is a senior leadership role where you will oversee the complete end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness for one of the world's most respected companies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution across Uganda.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and drive significant cost-saving initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local logistics partners.
• Ensure full compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the Ugandan market.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Utilise SAP or similar ERP systems to analyse data, forecast demand, and streamline operations.
• Develop robust contingency plans to mitigate risks within the Ugandan logistics and distribution network.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a related sector in Uganda.
• In-depth, practical knowledge of Ugandan logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks.
• Expert-level proficiency with SAP or other major ERP systems.
• Demonstrated strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
