Diageo, a global leader in premium drinks, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at the Jinja facility. Job Summary

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and optimising the end-to-end supply chain activities at our Jinja site. You will coordinate transportation, oversee warehouse management, and implement strategies to improve our logistics operations in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily logistics, transportation, and distribution operations from the Jinja facility.
• Oversee inventory control and warehouse management to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Optimise supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve service levels across Uganda.
• Plan and schedule transportation for inbound and outbound goods.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all supply chain activities.
• Utilise SAP or similar ERP systems for supply chain planning and execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in supply chain operations, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced environment in Uganda.
• Practical knowledge and experience using SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines common in the Ugandan market.
