Social Recruitment Specialist at SUNDA International (Kampala, Uganda)

SUNDA International is seeking a talented and tech-savvy Social Recruitment Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kampala. In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of modern hiring, leveraging the innovative 'Moka' intelligent recruitment management system to source, attract, and engage top talent across Uganda.

As a Social Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative recruitment campaigns on various social media platforms and professional networks. You will play a key role in building SUNDA International's employer brand and connecting with the best candidates in the Ugandan job market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective social media recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Manage and optimise the 'Moka' intelligent recruitment system for efficient candidate sourcing and tracking.
• Create engaging job advertisements and employer branding content for platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Proactively search for and engage with passive candidates through social channels and professional networks.
• Screen applications and manage the initial stages of the candidate communication pipeline.
• Analyse recruitment metrics and campaign performance to recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on the latest social recruiting trends and digital tools relevant to the East African market.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in recruitment, HR, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and their use for professional networking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly; prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
