Job Description

Stanbic Bank Uganda, a leading financial institution and member of the Standard Bank Group, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Service Consultants. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to build a rewarding career in Uganda's banking sector. We are creating a talent pool for multiple branch locations across Uganda.

As a Service Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for our walk-in customers, providing exceptional service and handling a variety of banking needs. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience and driving the bank's digital migration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Serve walk-in customers by processing cash transactions, account inquiries, and other service requests efficiently and accurately.
β€’ Actively promote and assist customers with digital banking solutions (mobile banking, internet banking, ATMs) to encourage adoption and usage.
β€’ Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive and professional experience at all times.
β€’ Cross-sell the bank's products and services, including accounts, loans, and insurance, based on customer needs.
β€’ Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain operational integrity and security.
β€’ Maintain accurate records and handle cash with utmost responsibility.

Requirements & Qualifications:
β€’ A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any business-related field from a recognised institution.
β€’ Strong passion for customer service and excellent interpersonal skills.
β€’ Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
β€’ Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new digital platforms.
β€’ Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in a customer-facing role is an added advantage.
β€’ Must be a Ugandan citizen with the flexibility to work in various locations as needed.
