Senior Program Management Manager Job at PATH Uganda - Kampala

PATH Uganda is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for Program Management to provide strategic leadership for our health equity projects in Uganda. This is a senior-level opportunity to drive impactful health initiatives and improve outcomes across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for PATH's entire Uganda portfolio of health projects.
• Ensure effective, efficient project implementation while managing resources and budgets.
• Foster collaboration among project teams, government agencies, donors, and local partners.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure full compliance with organisational policies, donor requirements, and Ugandan regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project management staff.
• Contribute to developing new project proposals and organisational strategic planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Public Health, International Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in programme management, preferably within the public health or NGO sector in Uganda.
• Strong track record managing large, complex projects and multi-donor funded programmes.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local Ugandan languages (e.g., Luganda, Runyankole) is a strong asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
