Senior Manager, Program Effectiveness and Impact Job in Kampala, Uganda

World Vision International is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Manager for Program Effectiveness and Impact to join our team in Kampala. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership in programme effectiveness and impact measurement for our Uganda operations.
• Develop, implement, and manage robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and systems.
• Ensure all programmes are aligned with organisational strategic goals and donor requirements.
• Lead capacity-building initiatives and training for staff on M&E best practices and tools.
• Conduct advanced data analysis, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to key stakeholders, including donors and community partners.
• Oversee the collection and management of high-quality data to assess programme outcomes and impact.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in programme management, monitoring, and evaluation, preferably within the international NGO sector.
• Proven expertise in designing M&E systems and leading impact assessments.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R, or advanced Excel).
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills, with experience reporting to major institutional donors.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in team capacity building.
