Relationship Manager for Financial Institutions & Social Enterprises Job at Pearl Bank Uganda, Kampala

Pearl Bank Uganda is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Relationship Manager to join our team in Kampala. This is a senior-level position where you will be responsible for managing and growing our portfolio of financial institution and social enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic relationship management plans for financial institutions and social enterprises.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the bank's client portfolio within these sectors.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including microfinance institutions, SACCOs, NGOs, and social impact businesses.
• Analyse client needs and provide tailored financial solutions, including credit facilities, transaction banking, and treasury products.
• Monitor portfolio performance, manage risk, and ensure compliance with Bank of Uganda regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on client engagement, market trends, and business performance to senior management.
• Represent Pearl Bank Uganda at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance our market presence.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in relationship management, corporate banking, or business development within Uganda's financial sector.
• Deep understanding of the Ugandan financial landscape, including regulatory frameworks and the social enterprise ecosystem.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business targets.
