Quality Assurance (QA) Remote Job in Uganda | Work from Home

AG is hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) professional for a fully remote position based in Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international team and ensure the highest standards of product and service delivery from the comfort of your home or any location in Uganda.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for excellence to join our quality team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs and defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing on software applications and products.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential quality issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or software testing role.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong self-motivation and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup in Uganda.
