Job Description

The Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development Uganda is seeking qualified professionals to join the Secretariat for PSD/DPI Programmes in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Uganda's economic development through private sector development and public investment programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of Private Sector Development (PSD) and Development Partner Interventions (DPI) programmes
  • Coordinate with government agencies and development partners on programme activities
  • Monitor and evaluate programme performance and outcomes
  • Prepare regular progress reports and documentation
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagements and workshops
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and donor requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in programme management or development work
  • Strong understanding of Uganda's economic development landscape
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working with government or development partners preferred
