Office Attendant and Cleaner Job at Mbarara University of Science & Technology (MUST)

Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) is inviting applications from qualified and dedicated Ugandans to fill the position of Office Attendant and Cleaner. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform daily cleaning of offices, lecture rooms, corridors, and other assigned university facilities.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
• Assist in setting up venues for meetings, workshops, and university functions.
• Handle basic office attendant duties such as delivering internal mail and documents.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure security of assigned areas by following university protocols.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent is mandatory.
• Proven experience in cleaning or office attendant roles is an added advantage.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be a Ugandan citizen.
