TotalEnergies EP Uganda, a major player in Uganda's growing energy sector, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee critical night shift operations. This is a regular, full-time position based in Uganda, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to landmark national projects within a world-class organisation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Supervise and manage all construction activities during the night shift, ensuring strict adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Lead, coordinate, and provide direct supervision to night shift construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.
• Enforce the highest standards of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) compliance, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
• Monitor construction progress, quality of work, and resource utilisation, reporting directly to day shift management.
• Resolve technical issues, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure all night-time work aligns with project objectives and Ugandan regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation for all night shift activities.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence among all night shift personnel.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in construction supervision, with significant experience in large-scale industrial or oil & gas projects.
• Demonstrable experience in managing night shift operations is highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of international and local construction standards, codes, and HSSE protocols.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions under pressure, and thrive in a challenging environment.
