Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Airtel Uganda's robust network infrastructure across the country.
• Monitor network performance proactively to ensure optimal service delivery and high availability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and security enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and service improvements.
• Maintain detailed network documentation and provide technical reports.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in telecom network operations, preferably within the Ugandan or East African market.
• Professional certification such as CCNA or CCNP is highly preferred and will be a significant advantage.
• Strong practical knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
