Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist Job at World Vision International - Mbarara

World Vision International Uganda is seeking an experienced Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist to join our team in Mbarara. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to meaningful development work in Western Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks and systems
• Conduct regular data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Prepare detailed monitoring reports for management and donors
• Build capacity of staff members in M&E methodologies and tools
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all programmes
• Coordinate with programme teams to track project performance
• Support evidence-based decision making through data insights

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in monitoring and evaluation
• Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, STATA, R, or similar)
• Demonstrated experience with donor reporting requirements
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Experience working in the development sector preferred
• Excellent communication and training abilities
