Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Job at FHI 360 Uganda - Kampala

FHI 360 Uganda is seeking a qualified Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join our dynamic team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled M&E professional to contribute to meaningful development projects in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks and systems
• Track and monitor project performance against established indicators
• Conduct regular field monitoring visits across project sites in Uganda
• Collect, analyse, and validate project data using appropriate methodologies
• Prepare detailed quarterly and annual performance reports
• Build capacity of project staff in M&E concepts and tools
• Ensure data quality assurance and management
• Support programme planning and decision-making processes

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation
• Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, STATA, etc.)
• Excellent command of MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience working with NGOs or development organisations in Uganda
• Knowledge of Uganda's development landscape and M&E frameworks
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams
