Job Summary

As a Medical Officer at C-Care Uganda, you will work as an in-house medical professional responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients. You will be stationed at our Mbale facility, where you'll play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing various medical conditions while upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients
• Manage both outpatient and inpatient care as required
• Prescribe appropriate medication and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
• Participate in health education and preventive medicine initiatives
• Adhere to all medical protocols and ethical standards
• Ensure proper infection prevention and control measures

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognised institution
• Full registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
• Valid annual practicing license
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development
