Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line technical support to staff across the Kampala office, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Respond to and manage IT support tickets through the service desk system, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist in maintaining network security protocols and systems to protect company data.
• Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups to ensure optimal performance.
• Train and guide staff on the proper use of software and hardware.
• Collaborate with the IT team on various projects and system upgrades.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field from a recognised institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an IT support role, preferably within a corporate setting in Uganda.
• Strong practical knowledge of computer networking principles and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Proficiency with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software.
• A proactive, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
