Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Maintain and configure Windows and Linux operating systems for optimal performance
• Assist staff members with IT-related problems through helpdesk support and on-site assistance
• Implement and monitor network security measures to protect organisational data
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups
• Document technical procedures and maintain IT inventory records
• Collaborate with regional IT teams to implement group-wide technology initiatives
• Provide basic cybersecurity awareness training to staff members

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field from a recognised institution
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or technical helpdesk roles
• Proven knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) will be an added advantage
