In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the HR department, and acting as a vital link between management and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, etc.).
  • Support the administration of employee benefits and welfare programmes.
  • Help organise training & development sessions and track employee participation.
  • Prepare HR documents like employment contracts, confirmation letters, and warning letters.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with Ugandan labour laws.
  • Assist in organising company events and staff engagement activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of Ugandan labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be willing to be based in Buliisa.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work with a major international company on significant national projects.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment.

If you are a motivated HR professional looking to advance your career in a challenging and rewarding sector, we encourage you to apply.
