About the Role
As a Functional Systems Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all functional system issues, enhancement requests, and user support. Your primary responsibility will be to provide operational support, configuration, and process alignment for our ERP, hospital, and core business applications. You will ensure these critical systems are reliable, maintain high data quality, and comply with all approved organisational processes, directly contributing to efficient healthcare delivery across Uganda.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for resolving functional system issues and user enhancement requests.
- Provide daily operational support and configuration for ERP, hospital management, and core business applications.
- Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and quality across all platforms.
- Align system processes with approved business workflows and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand needs and implement system improvements.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, issues, and resolutions.
- Support the digital transformation initiatives at C-Care Uganda facilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in supporting and configuring ERP or hospital management systems.
- Strong understanding of business process alignment and system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-service orientation for user support.
- Knowledge of database management and data quality principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Uganda.
