This senior leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial strategy and operations for one of Uganda's most respected FMCG manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee all financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting for Diageo Uganda
• Lead financial planning, analysis, and forecasting to support business growth
• Ensure compliance with Ugandan tax laws, financial regulations, and international accounting standards
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development
• Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making by senior management
• Collaborate with manufacturing and commercial teams to optimise costs and profitability

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field from a recognised institution
• Full professional accounting qualification (CPA Uganda, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance management roles
• Proven experience in manufacturing or FMCG industry within Uganda or East Africa
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modelling and data analysis
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems
