Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate and maintain IFAD vehicles for official transportation needs
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and ensure roadworthiness
• Handle administrative tasks including document filing, record keeping, and office correspondence
• Transport staff and visitors to meetings, field visits, and official functions
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and trip records
• Assist with office clerical duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with Uganda traffic laws and IFAD safety regulations

Requirements

• Valid Uganda driving permit (Class B minimum)
• Minimum 3 years professional driving experience in Uganda
• Clean driving record with no major traffic offenses
• Secondary education certificate (UCE)
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
• Fluency in English and local languages
• Knowledge of Kampala and Uganda road networks
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
