Dental Nurse Job in Kololo, Kampala - C-Care Uganda

Job Summary:
As a Dental Nurse at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental surgeons to deliver exceptional oral healthcare. You will ensure the smooth operation of the dental clinic, maintain the highest standards of hygiene, and provide compassionate care to our patients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist the dental surgeon during various clinical procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
* Prepare and maintain dental treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment before and after patient appointments.
* Strictly adhere to and enforce infection prevention and control protocols (IPC) as per Ministry of Health and C-Care standards.
* Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle front-desk reception duties when required.
* Provide clear pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients.
* Maintain adequate stock levels of dental supplies and consumables.
* Ensure a positive and reassuring experience for all patients visiting the clinic.

Requirements and Qualifications:
* Must possess a Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution and be registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
* A certificate in Dental Nursing or relevant clinical experience in a dental setting is a strong advantage.
* Excellent understanding of sterilisation techniques and infection control practices.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and under the guidance of senior dental staff.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
