Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain information systems and tools for UNHCR's operations in Uganda.
• Support data collection, analysis, visualisation, and dissemination to inform programme decisions.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, integrity, and protection in line with organisational policies.
• Work closely with programme and field teams across Uganda to identify information needs and develop solutions.
• Provide training and capacity building to staff on data management tools like KoBo, Power BI, or similar.
• Prepare regular information products and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A university degree in Information Management, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data management, analysis, and visualisation.
• Strong proficiency in data management software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
• Previous experience in the humanitarian or development sector in Uganda is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local Ugandan languages is an asset.
