Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective recruitment and sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for various roles within Compassion Uganda.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand specific staffing needs and department objectives.
• Source candidates through multiple channels, including online job boards, professional networks, and local community outreach.
• Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and manage the candidate pipeline to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
• Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking data, generate recruitment reports, and monitor key hiring metrics.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Ugandan labour laws and organisational policies.
• Support employment branding initiatives to enhance Compassion's reputation as an employer of choice in Uganda.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a similar HR role.
• Solid knowledge of Ugandan labour laws and recruitment best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A heart for service and alignment with Compassion's Christian mission and values.
