Job Overview:
As a Support Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient hospital operations by providing essential support services. You will work closely with medical staff to ensure smooth daily functioning of healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with patient transport and movement within the hospital premises
• Support cleaning and sanitation of hospital wards and equipment
• Help with distribution of medical supplies and linen
• Provide basic support to nursing and medical staff as directed
• Maintain proper documentation of support services activities
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety and hygiene protocols
• Assist with setting up rooms for procedures and patient admissions
• Support inventory management of non-medical supplies

Requirements:
• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in hospital or healthcare setting is advantageous
• Good physical fitness for manual tasks
• Strong communication skills in English and local languages
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
• Basic understanding of infection prevention protocols
